I'm Mao, known online as mxyhi. I work as a full-stack engineer, and I spend a lot of time on AI agents, RAG knowledge bases, vector retrieval, AI automation, and developer workflows. Recent work includes token_proxy, a local AI gateway for OpenAI, Gemini, and Anthropic; ok-skills, a curated skill collection and AGENTS.md playbooks for coding agents; and always-on-memory-agent, a customized fork exploring persistent memory for agent systems.

I also build product experiments and utilities across TypeScript, Python, and Rust, including voice-copy and llm_model. I care about pragmatic engineering, evidence-backed iteration, and tools that make AI workflows more reliable.
